Fifthseason is a multidisciplinary practice where we develop concepts, which allow us and our clients to think inter-disciplinarily within different scales, in various dimensions, and on multiple layers. Central to our practice is the work-process and an active interaction with our clients. Claudia Dias’ background is as an Architect, Urban Planner and Landscape Designer MA. Her studies in philosophy help her to create narratives within her design work. Her goal is to find for public or private clients well-informed quality solutions, which are unique and can offer multiple layers of interpretation.

Since 2002 Claudia Dias has created interiors including for the French UN Ambassador, as well as exhibition installations for private collectors, major art galleries and design fairs in Europe, the United States and Asia. Fifthseason has also created a number of urban public and private landscape-designs and installations also in collaboration with Balmori Associates, and early on actively advocated for small and large green-roofs in Manhattan.
Claudia Dias has lectured and taught in the US and in Europe and her career includes prominent, international assignments in firms around the world including OMA, Rafael Viñoly Architects and Tsao&McKown Architects.
